Southwest Monsoon Season

July is the third month of the Southwest Monsoon, which is spread from May to September. Most of the island has less rain apart from the Southwestern section which is affected by the Southwest monsoon.

All the areas with yellow & greenish color on the map are in the dry zone.

Wet zone to avoid

All the areas within blue color on the map and surrounding area in light green are in the wet zone.
