| 1 | Airport to Hiriketiya Beach Head to down-south towards Hiriketiya beach. August is the fourth month of the Southwest Monsoon. Bentota, Galle, Mirissa areas may get rain during this time. If the weather is good on the day you travel, you can have a en-route Galle fort visit. We recommend Hiriketiya to stay as it’s beyond the rain map and about 3 hors away from the airport via the highway. | Hiriketiya |

| 4 | Ella to Nuwara Eliya train journey Getting train tickets from Nuwara Eliya to Ella at the normal rate is almost impossible as larger tour operators buy it in bulk and re-sell it at higher rates. What we recommend to do is getting the train the opposite direction. It’s less crowded and tickets are always available via the official government website. Select ELLE to Nanu Oya. Nanu Oya Is the railway station for Nuwara Elia, coolest city in Sri Lanka known as the Little England. You can book train tickets 30 days before the required date. | Nuwara Eliya |
